Ken Ishikawa was a protogé and friend of Go Nagai. He created the Getter Robo series and worked on a manga version of Cutey Honey (which was later adapted and toned down into New Cutey Honey. He passed away of a heart attack and his impact on anime and manga has been felt with many transforming robot shows and other things. Someone fill in the rest onegai.
